Recorded in 1983, Safety is a Cootie Wootie was first released in a Japanese cassette art magazine called TRA early in 1984. A shorter version was released in America as the B-side of This is a Man's Man's Man's World, and the original version was eventually re-issued as bonus tracks on the various releases (the first Big Bubble from ESD; Residue Deux).
