Following the successful runs of Talking Light, Randy, Chuck, and Bob put together a new show for their 40th Anniversary. In this show, the group reimagined songs from their vast musical catalog. In addition, the performance also revealed the raw soul of The Residents' lead singer, Randy Rose. After disclosing that his current life partner is a cat, Rose proceeded to confess the failure of eleven marriages while boldly baring the residue of a life-long sexual addiction.


This tour also marks the beginnings of the documentary film, Theory of Obscurity, as the filmmakers tagged along to collect exclusive footage for their project.
